Use Your Token

When you ran ./scripts/setup.sh, it displayed your registration token in a highlighted box.

Go to https://matrix.yourdomain.com

Click Create account

Fill in:

• Username: Pick a name (letters/numbers only)
• Password: Something strong (8+ characters)
• Homeserver: Should show your domain
• Registration Token: The token from setup

Click Register

After the first account: Anyone can register without a token (open registration). Share your URL with your community!

Lost your token? Get it from the logs:

docker compose logs continuwuity | grep "registration token"

Homeserver wrong? If it shows matrix.org instead of your domain, the setup script didn’t update the config. Run setup again or edit config/cinny/config.json manually.
